Lorna Thompson

Head Dance Coach and Director of Platinum Dance Academy

Lorna is the head dance coach and director of Platinum Dance Academy. She has a BTEC National Diploma in Dance at a triple distinction level and is trained in Urban dance, contemporary, ballet,choreography, physical theatre, acting and voice.

She has been performing from a young age and has performed at Her Majesties Theatre in Londons West End and worked as a free-style dancer for Kiss FM for 4years.

Lorna has taught dance in many local schools including Methwold High School, County Upper School, Thurston Community College, Old Buckingham Hall and for the School Sports Partnership.

She enjoys choreographing new, dynamic routines for performances and competitions. Lorna is DBS checked, first aid trained and has completed a safeguarding and protecting children course with the NSPCC.

Natasha Klimowicz

Street Dance Coach

Natasha has been dancing with P.D.A right from the start. Starting as a member of our street and contemporary classes she has now progressed onto and teaching Street dance. Natasha has her level 2 certificate in Street Dance teaching.

Natasha is DBS checked, first aid trained, and has a certificate in safeguarding and protecting children.

Livvie Beales

Street & Musical Theatre Dance Coach

Livvie started her dance journey with Platinum Dance Academy over 8 years ago. She has competed at many competitions in Street Dance at national and world championship level and is now part of our coaching team.

Livvie has taught at many local Primary schools as part of the local School Sports Partnership and is now teaching at PDA 3 days a week. Livvie teaches Street Dance to our Infant and Junior dancers and will also be teaching Musical Theatre Dance in the New Year

Emilia Spampanato

Street & Musical Theatre Dance Coach

Emily is the newest member of our team and will be our vocal coach for our up and coming Musical Theatre classes.

Emily graduated with a Professional Diploma in Musical Theatre in 2019 and has just returned from her first contract on Celebrity Cruise lines as a Lead Vocalist.

Emily has taught at many Stagecoaches, Make Believe, The Voice Squad and PPA Kids, covering singing, dancing, acting and musical theatre. She also has a Level 4 Trinity teaching qualification.
