Newsletter December 2014
Just a few little updates about what is happening over the next few weeks leading up to Christmas!
As we will not be able to do a Christmas show this year because the Apex is booked up, we will be having a disco at the Hunter Club on Saturday 20th December for all of our dancers. 7pm-11pm. £3 entry on the door to cover costs. It should be lots of fun and a great end to an amazing year at P.D.A
Our last classes will be on Saturday 20th December. We have 2 weeks off for Christmas and will return fresh and ready to dance on Monday 5th January. We will then start preparing for our next show which should be in the Spring.
Well done to everyone that took their UDO Syllabus exams last weekend. If anyone is interested in starting up the syllabus please let me know. We don’t have much space in our timetable but I can possibly fit in a grade 1 class on an “every other week” basis on a Friday 5-6pm. It would alternate with those who are currently training for their grade 4 exams. I need to have at least 10 people though to make it worth it. Let me know if you would like to start it up. There are details on what it is all about at www.udostreetdance.com – You will work your way up from grade 1 to grade 6 and then you can take your teaching exam and gain a level 2 qualification in Street Dance. This is suitable for people in junior classes and up.
Finally; after the success of our Halloween video (over 10,000 views!) we will be making a Christmas music video on the last week of term! Yay! I havent chosen a song yet but shall let everyone know exactly what we are doing in due course 🙂
